Interesting how just a few days ago I posted about bike and car collaborations and today I find a Porsche bike! But unlike that post, this isn’t a collaboration. This Porsche concept bike is a finalist in the Fast Company / Porsche “Next Design Challenge”, a design contest to create a product design that uses at least three design elements or attributes from the Porsche 911 of any era.
This concept bike was designed by David Schultz – one of the industrial designers at Specialized in the early 90s. Here’s a link to Schultz’s portfolio if you’d like to view more of his work. Please also click on Schultz’s Behance page for the project for a more detailed write up on the contest.
